Marinescapes: Of Mind & Matter

Carlos Pérez Franco often stated that he'd never want to live more than a mile from the sea. Throughout most of his life in numerous countries, he fulfilled that wish.

Included in the estate collection are a series of particular interest depicting the view from his studio, Carlos' main residence since 2008. Featured are the lighthouse on the point at Punta Carretas, the protected bay and the fishermen with their red boats meters away where Carlos bought fresh fish a few times every week.

We are also enthusiastic about a collection of Pérez Franco watercolors produced between 2007 and 2014. These sets are representative of his finest work on paper. It is also the first time since the mid-eighties that Pérez Franco watercolors have been available for purchase. We also have a limited number of small, fine quality marine works on canvas or linen.
